The Corn Exchange notes large wheat and oats supply from Essex and Kent, with fine dry samples holding prices though damp samples trade lower. Barley and malt move briskly. hog pease cheaper while boilers and fine old beans stay steady. New oats scarce, old oats firm. Wheat prices range and various grain items listed. Smithfield market shows mixed beef, veal, mutton, pork, and lamb prices with cattle headcount: cattle 22,000 to 62,000, sheep 13,000, lambs 1,000.
