Royal procession and dinner entertainments in London

A detailed account of the royal progress through London on Friday June 21, with the King and Queen, Prince of Wales and other nobles reviewing Volunteer corps from St James's Park to Hyde Park. The day included inspections at the Foundling Hospital, fruitless scaffolding collapse, luncheon at Lord Chancellor’s house, and a Windsor departure at six in the evening. The City of London welcomed the monarchs with acclamations and bells, and a letter from the Duke of Portland praised the city’s loyalty and orderly display. The narrative also notes electoral and municipal updates and ends with a tumbling accident report near Gravesend.
