Royal Birth Day Festivity Honors Princess Amelia
London reports the city luxuriously celebrated the Princess Amelia’s recovery with a grand royal party. Queen and royals hosted a feast with eighty covers, decorated by Princess Elizabeth, followed by performances by Quick Elliston and Mattocks and a ball in a rainward garden setting. Officers danced in boots while the King spoke with key nobles. At twelve, the royal party departed after a day of displays, music, and gratitude for restored health. An attorney faced 25s for profane swearing, and thefts were disclosed in Brewer Street and Bermondsey. A Lambeth servant fell from a window, breaking her back.
