The Revising Barrister pressed the important bankruptcy point, with Mr Pray absent. Mr Clifton would not admit Prey as bankrupt, so the case stood over to Thursday. Registration lists in Manchester show free trade and monopolist disputes, with mixed results. Salford revision revealed weak monopolist turnout and many objections withdrawn. Warrington revision opened with free traders opposing monopolists, as South Lancashire revision began in Bury amid expectations the League will build on earlier gains.
