Awful River Lea tragedy leaves eleven dead near Clapton

A Sunday accident on the River Lea near Clapton bridged the loss of eleven lives after two boats collided. Ten boys from Clapton and Bethnal Green families engaged a wherry at Jolly Anglers, with a second boat carrying five men and one woman.
