A Corn-Law Reform Proposal by David Salomons

A London pamphlet argues for a reform of corn duties to stabilize prices. It proposes a fluctuating duty between 10s and 16s per quarter, rising as prices fall and falling as prices rise, to shield landed interests while keeping corn trade regular. The plan also suggests higher duties on imported European manufactured goods to curb millers.
