John Gibbs, a warehouseman, and Cohen were seized after Gibbs moved cloth to Cohen. Gibbs confessed a pattern of selling stolen fabrics. Both men remanded until Monday as more loot from Cohen’s premises piled up at Moor Lane station. A foreman of Mesara Webb, Coleman Street, linked to Cohen’s circle, was captured. Gibbs had been in service seventeen years and was lured into the crime by the receiver.
