Drama and Sport Echo in Victorian Columns

A mosaic of 1845 era notices ranges from political verse on liberty to waterway tolls and Swiss associations. It outlines theatre reports, ballet and opera reviews, horse racing results at Newmarket and Chester, yacht racing tidbits, and Covent Garden Theatrical Fund proceedings with donations from Queen Victoria and the Duke of Cambridge. It also covers a swindle at an Halifax concert, the Edinburgh model at Blackfriars, and social notes on public events and prints warnings.
