Attempted Assassination in Drury Lane

A 16 year old John Graham shot a man in Drury Lane near Morgan's cook shop. The wounded lithographic printer, Thomas Blewitt, aged 36, remains gravely ill at King's College Hospital. Graham was captured nearby, claimed the shot was accidental, and was remanded to Bow Street. Blewitt's condition worsened during the night.
