Deaths of John Wishart and wife in Fife after forty years together

John Wishart aged about 70 and his wife about 60 died at Pitlessie Fife on Wednesday week eight hours apart. They leaves many descendants. In Yorkshire assizes William Smith pleaded guilty to forging a £60 bill of exchange. His counsel urged retracting the plea but the indictment was challenged as bad. The judge granted the demurrer, and Smith was discharged after already pleading guilty.
