Ireland. Literary Chronicle fragment on prices and affairs

The piece blends stock notes with reports on officers, treaties, and regional disturbances across the British Empire.

Funeral and murder tale at Westminster Abbey in bloodshed

In the western end of the south aisle at Westminster Abbey a fatal stabbing occurred during a funeral processional for the late poet Thomas Campbell.
