Extraordinary Privy Council scene over Wood v Hutchings appeal

A packed Privy Council heard Wood v Hutchings with Sir Frederick Pollock protesting as counsel for respondents that one judge had previously represented the appellants. Lord Brougham and Sir Stephen Lushington discussed recusals and the need for a properly constituted bench. The case was postponed to Monday to secure a full chamber as counsel noted.
