Sixteen Million Bubble doomed by cleverness and venal aims

A parliamentary analysis denounces the Sixteen Million Bubble as a crude ploy to seize Exchequer funds. The piece praises the defeat of the scheme in the Commons, warns of party power plays, and calls it a beacon urging voters to beware in the next general election. It notes leaders like Lord George and Mr. O Connell and references Irish and British political maneuvering.
