London Markets Corn Exchange Report

English wheat supply was moderate and the market dull with sales needing a 1s cut to 28 per quarter. Foreign grain available on easier terms but limited business. Indian core cargoes move slowly at late prices. Malting barley and low grinding sorts remain pricey, intermediate qualities hard to move. Malt price shows a slow gain, Deans and peas lower. Oats arrivals are short, ship samples scarce. Granary parcels offered at prior rates with only retail sales to needy buyers.
