Fox and Co. Birmingham failures threaten 20s in the pound

The eminent wire drawers Fox and Co. of Birmingham stopped payment. Creditors may only receive 20s in the pound. The failure would put over 500 Birmingham workers, plus many in Wales, out of employment. Additional notes on musicians, fire safety improvements, and a Liverpool embezzlement case are noted.
