Absurd Absence of Mine Ends With Lost Bridle
A Cornish traveler with infirmity rode to Porthleaven and left his horse at Fisherman's Arms. He carried the bridle away but later forgot it. After conversation with companions he packed the bridle in his pocket and walked home. The next day a friend traced the missing horse by the bridle.
