Insolvent Sir Henry Chudleigh Oxenden Granted Discharge
The insolvency case of Sir Henry Chudleigh Oxenden concluded with the court discharging the debtor. Debts total nearly £90,362, including £7,500 secured and £29,563 without consideration. An assignor was appointed to oversee Kent estates, and a railway agreement contributed to the failure of settlement. The hearing clarified lack of animosity toward Sir Henry, while confirming large liabilities and ongoing asset questions.
