Business Changes and Fatal Collision Report

Buds father Wm Campbell was Stipendary Magistrate in Chetwynd at his death about two years ago. Bernice Campbell remains active in ranching at Willow Flats. Three killed and one seriously injured in head on collision on the Kart Highway near Progress at mile sixteen. Victims include Mr Kennedy of Macdonalds Consolidated and the Gibson family of Westlock Alberta. The crash occurred in front of Peterson farm. cause undetermined.

Chetwynd Court Mote Hosts Inspection and Gas Expansion

Maintenance of Way officials from the Pacific Great Eastern Railway led a right of way inspection in Chetwynd prior to winter. No new main extensions were added this year, but twenty new customers have connected or will connect to existing mains before freeze-up.
