Walter Thompson Transferred to Sandspit Island Facility
Walter Thompson, a BC Hydro staff member of five years, four in Chetwynd, is reassigned as Chief Operator for the Sandspit facility serving Queen Charlotte City pulp operations and the local airport. His move creates a Board of Trustees vacancy at Chetwynd Waterworks District. Bert Chetham’s term recently ended and Ralph Tod will chair the vacancy. Chetham is currently at Falconbridge Sudbury Ontario with Cowley Electric, a Canadian General Electric subsidiary.
