Plans for Hotel Extension in Chetwynd Nears Finalization
Mr. James Cook of James Cook & Associates Toronto engineers in Regina met in Chetwynd to finalize plans for a westward hotel extension adding about 30 rooms a banquet and meeting area a drug store bank beauty parlor and barber shop. The overhaul includes air conditioned banquet space revised cafe and lobby and improved ventilation with tenders expected by mid March.

Legion Drive for Members Starts Saturday
The Membership Committee of Chetwynd Branch 258 meets in Hudson Hope hotel banquet room Saturday February 7 to discuss Hudson Hope veterans joining the Chetwynd Legion. About thirty Hudson Hope veterans are believed to be eligible. The drive includes 2 dollar and 10 cent Jackpot Cards and 21st game for the Poppy Fund.
