Christmas Light Contest Shines in Chetwynd
The Chamber of Commerce held a Christmas Light contest with Windrem Motel winning Commercial prize for its nativity display on the north end of the building. Mike Edmonds won the residential prize for a Santa with impressive lights near the school. Honourable mentions went to Chetwynd Hotel and Chetwynd Chevron Services. Judging was by Frank Toparchak Rever Jungbluth and Frank Oberle. The group hopes for more entrants next year and an upcoming yard and garden contest. The Chamber lacks a head as it plans a New Year meeting on the second Tuesday in January after New Year’s Day.
