Construction Starts on New Motel in Dawson Creek
Northern Highline Construction of Dawson Creek began drilling holes for concrete piling for a new motel by Windrem Motel Ltd. Principal M Hayward said initial work includes four sleeping units and five single units with a one roof design. Occupancy is targeted for June 15. Irwin Homes Ltd. of Dawson Creek and Prince George won the general contract. The motel sits on the south side of the Hart Highway just west of Windrem Creek.
