French troops seized positions and took 600 prisoners as British raiding parties reported success. The week featured limited Russian progress, the capture of four German merchant vessels, several ships sunk or ashore, and 12 British cargo ships attacked but escaping. In total 2828 ships arrived and 2920 sailed from British ports.

Rural Municipality of Ayr No. 339 minutes record the eighth council meeting held at D. McCulloch residence July 1 with members McGuire Weeks Koskie Morten Billmeyer Willicott present. Appeals denied except N.E. 30-84-20 reduced from 1800 to 1500 and E 18-35-20 reduced from 1300 to 1000. road east of sections 1 and 13 84-22. Reeve authorized to hire a foreman for work. By law No 17 to be read a third time and passed.
