War News From The Front Amid Global Conflicts

Twelve killed eight wounded aboard the Anglo California from Montreal by a German submarine. the ship reached Queenston after a four hour pursuit. Russians hold ground after Galicia retreat and report prisoners and machine guns captured. Russia wins Baltic naval battle as a German ship is destroyed. Italians report artillery actions in Tyrol Trentino Carnia with prisoners and munitions captured. Frank Holt of Cornell shot J P Morgan to halt wartime supplies. Morgan improves. attacker dies in prison. July 6 nine killed eight injured in an ammunition factory explosion at Belocil Quebec.
