Minutes open at one o clock p m. Motions approve previous minutes and print Financial Statement at the Press office. Several motions authorize Humbolde Hospital aid, appoint Gardiner solicitor retainer, appoint M H Foubse assessor, and list Weed Inspectors. Next meeting set for March 16th.
The Trustees Convention outlines key resolutions on loyalty to the Crown and Raima, funding for rural pupils, Ash Wednesday as a holiday, delegate limits, retaining funds from school grants, English language literacy, English as the sole language of instruction and teaching, village tax payment by the Council, and notice deadlines for convention venues and dates.
In the Humboldt District Court Justice’s writ issues suit by THOMAS FITZGERALD and counsel against SCHOEMPERLIN and partners of Watson seeking action on lands tied to the Stove named defendants. The document directs aging of lands and details interest of the named defendants.
Monday night at a Quill Lake hotel a man sought lodging and water then carried a 22 rifle to his room. Police, aided by two assistants, searched the room and clothing uncovering ammunition revolver a German bible and other books later shown at Lee's store. The suspect slept through the event as officers braced themselves with cigars and drinks.
