The ninth council meeting at D. McCulloch's residence notes unanimous passage of July minutes, assigns duties to members to assess July 24 frost damage and 1919 seed needs, and urges Dominion Agriculture to seek spring seed aid for farmers unable to buy. It authorizes $40 for road land on NW 80-84-19 and approves accounts. Weed inspector to be paid $45 each. treasurer J. H. Shakespeare noted.
The Rural Municipality of Lake Lenore No 399 held its monthly meeting in St Briens with Reeve Bedard and Councillors Quaid Gaetz VanCamp and Quinion present. Dr Seymore outlined Union Hospital Act benefits and cost estimates. council approved joining the plan and named C E K VanCamp to hospital committee.
