Dube was found guilty of forging Arthur L Merril's signature and received a two year suspended sentence with 26.10 dollars in court costs. Palms versus Hinderks involved August Palms accused of seduction. case heard at Watson and Humboldt and dismissed. Palms later pursued damages for malicious prosecution, but malice was not proven and the action was dismissed.
