Watrous Suffers Casualties From War Front

Tisdale of Watrous, formerly with the Maseey Harris Implement Co and later a Dominion Lands Agent, was killed after enlisting with the 214th and serving in France. He left a wife Gertrude Fraser and two children. Roy E. Lee, son of Regina resident William Lee formerly of Watrous, was killed in action on September 27 after serving with the 214th Battalion. Eli R. Lee also enlisted with his brother and remains in service. About 383 men from Watrous joined the 214th Battalion during the war.
