A year after enlisting in a Winnipeg university corps Pte D Pile Watrous former Methodist pastor died of wounds received August 16. He preached his farewell sermon in Watrous before going overseas in 1917. A memorial service will be held October 10 at 7 30 p.m. at the Methodist Church with Rev T Johnston presiding.
