Villages to Compile Voters Lists in Saskatchewan
For the first time in history Saskatchewan villages will prepare Voters lists this year. Previously the assessment roll served this purpose but changes grant suffrage to women and wives of electors. The list must be prepared by the secretary treasurer on or before November 1. Future council terms will vary by vote totals with three year, two year, and one year tenures assigned to the highest, next, and third highest vote recipients. If elected by acclamation, nominations order fixes tenure.
