Poplar Park Trustees Accept W Findlay Resignation
The Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Mr. W Findlay at its last meeting and approved a half mill tax increase. A football result left Poplar Park unbeaten after Ply mouth fell 1 goal to 0. Holm scored within 60 seconds. A practice match is set for Friday at 8 30 p m. Beachgoers enjoyed Poplar Park last Sunday as families plan vacations. July 17 regular meeting G G A concert and ice cream social follows.

Leaving Watrous Mr R Hilts and family secured a home in Kitscotty then returned for a busy week of packing. The Hilts were among the town’s first settlers and helped Watrous grow. Mrs Hilts received a farewell casserole and address from the Meth Church Ladies Aid. Jessie Hilts will be missed from the Excelator Sunday School class.
