Growing Mignonette as a Border in Light, Well Drained Soil
The plant thrives in sun or semi-shade and emits strong fragrance, best when grown in light ground. Sow by sprinkling over the bed rather than in a seed box, avoid overly fine soil, and dust seed with gammaxane to deter ants. Do not overfeed soil, and transplanting from boxes is poor.
