Surprise Valuation Court Reduces Area Appeal Result
A Warwick Queensland Valuation Court hearing revealed a property owner on Percy Street challenged a valuation rise on a 1 rood 2.4 perches plot. The assessor proposed £180 after cross examination, up from £100, amid arguments about adjacent land values, flood effects, and improvements. The session highlighted differing local valuations and potential adjustments for flood-prone properties.
