Man Named Weber Convicted of Serial Fraud Schemes
A Bristol engineer, 49 year old Toneph Joan Webber, was found guilty of obtaining money by false pretences across multiple employments and farms. Prosecutors showed he posed as foreman for the Derby Forest Timber and Engineering Company and other firms, swindling dozens of workers and employers with deposits and promises of wages, leading to a 16 month sentence with further service if breached.
