In Quersn land, Tharves Mott-Graham of the clothing factory sector received two months in prison for dangerous driving. The Full Court dismissed Graham's appeal on March 18, and he had two weeks of freedom after the decision while police awaited an arrest warrant.
A Brisbane mass meeting of 150 detectives voted to strike if demands are not met within three days. The Queensland Police Union seeks an immediate interview with Health Minister Moore and Police Commissioner Smith and demands reinstatement of two demoted detectives or charges to justify transfers.
