COLORED MEN WEBB COUNTY HAVE ARRIVED CAMP TRAVISEnrique Foster and Ely Grayson Are First Negroes to Go From This County to the Training Camp.Two negro registrants of Webb county who were recently examined and accepted for service in the nu* tionai army, but who were held here pending instruct! ins to send them to the training camp for negroes to be established, and which is now In existence at Camp Travis, left hereyesterday afternoon for San Antonio and are now in the service of Uncle Sam.There were a total of four negroes examined and accented in this county, but the quota called for was two men, ho Enrique Foster and Ely Grayson were sent from here. Accompanying them were John Menafee, a negro from Cameron county, who happened to be in Laredo and who had been certified by the Comeron county board as one of the two negroes drafted from that county.
