IIOVFAMILY PARTY GIVEN AT THE GREENE HOMEThanksgiving Dinner With All Family at Home First Timein Five YearsWilliam L. Greene, Seabees, has arrived in the city for a 30-day leave, which he is passing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Greene, Sr., 5 Leonard court. Mr. Greene is accompanied toy his 'wife, who mot him in New York City. He has been transferred fro mthe Naval hospital at Mare Island, Calif., to St. Albans hospital, N. Y., and at the end of his leave will report back there. His many friends will be pleased to learn “Billy” is recovering very satisfactorily from injuries received at Saipan, when a dynamite-ship exploded.-Mr. and (Mrs. Greene entertained with a Thanksgiving dinner party at their home Thursday night, when for the first time in five years the entire family was together. The evening was passed in a pleasant manner With reminisences.During his absence (Mrs.%Greene has resided with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boy Hyde of Tops ham.Adding to the pleasure of theparty was the fact that their daughter, Mrs. Richard Syring of Portland, Ore., could toe with them. She has 'been passing several «weeks with her parents, hoping her brother wquld arrive before she had to return home.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John A. Greene, Jr., and son Alden, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Owen, son 'Peter and daughter Sue Ellen, (Misses Helen and Barbara Greene of this city, Mrs Syring of Portland. Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. William L Greene.
