The lot lev was written to Alfred's brother Oscar who is employed in a cafe in Minneapolis and Oscar forwarded the letter to his father in Algomt. Alfred is one of three brothers who are in the army. Gustav and Carl having served for several months as army horseshoers at Camp Lewis, Washington.The letter which follows is one of the best descriptive letters the Courier has had the privilege of publishing.
