Ten OklahomansWASHINGTON, June 13.—'^ —Ten. Oklahoma officers have received temporary promotions and two state officers have been ordered to active duty, the war department announced today.Promoted from captain to major were Herbert Anthony Turk, Norman; Hart sell Hamilton Northington, Stillwater, and Carl Thomas Sebring, Oklahoma City.The following were advanced from first lieutenant to captain: Melvin Ernest Thee, Edmond; Robert Lantry Parker, Tahle-quah; Claude Harold Williams,, Oklahoma City, and Burke Gil-! ! liam, Tulsa.I Promoted from second to first lieutenant were Marvin Millard j McKissick, Haskell: James Cameron Morris, Ingersoll, and Teddy Buford Akins, Okemah.Lt. Ophni Pulaski Montgomery, Bethany, and Second Lt. j Bruce Elmer Walters, Oklahoma City, were ordered to active duty.
