TWENTY-TWO KILLED IN BATTLE; LIKELY CANTIGNY CASUALTIES(By United Press.)WASHINGTON, D. C., June 5.— Twenty-two Americans were killed in action and eight died of wounds. It is thought these casualties resulted in the action in which the Americans took Caniigny. All the Iowans included are members of the 168th infantry. The action was May 27. Included in the list is Samuel Hazard of Atlantic, who died of wounds.
