MUCK MAYSTAY INIs Silent on Offer to Be*Sent HomeWASHINGTON, July 23. — Dr. Karl Muck, former leader of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will not be deported by the Department of Justice with other Interned alien enemies. He will be Riven his freedom as soon as peace is proclaimed, if not before, unless Congress in the meantime passes legislation to alter the present situation.Attorney-General Palmer sent a letter to Dr. Muck and to all of the other interned men offering to send them back to Germany if they wished to go- Some few asked to be sent home, and the requests are being complied with as rapidly as possible. Dr. Muck, however, has not been heard from in this connection and occupies the same status as all of the interned men. Those not regarded as dangerous are already being released from internment camps, and all those on parole and not regarded as dangerous have been released from parole.NOMINATION PAPERS TAKEN OUT FOR LONG
