Officers were elected as follows: Fraser president, Gay vice-president, Morse secretary and treasurer, Fellows delegate to the state medical. It was voted to hold monthly meetings, and the next will be a Bancroft. Some little controversy over the fact of membership of Dr. Walters of Bancroft was resolved in the doctor's favor by consent. A personal encounter as the doctors were leaving the building was occasion for much excited comment. Dr. Walters was knooked down by Dr. j Kenefiok, but the men were separated.. The', Bancroft .physician’s face wassomewhat bruised. There has been bad blood between the doctors for a• ilong time, and Kenefick says that Walters has been writing letters I around the county In which he called him a quack. Kenefiok it is believed has at least one of the letters. Atwarrant was sworn out last night against Kenefick and he will have a hearing on the charge of assault and , battery before Justice Crowell at 9 this morning.|--
