Byron reported from Washington today presidential .approval of a ?247,28S WPA project for Camp Ritchie which was sponsored by the Military Department of the State of Maryland.The project includes completing the construction of new buildings, improving existing buildings, buildJng. streets and roads, target pits, installing water and sewerage systems and all other accessary improvements to make Camp Ritchie on© of the best military training centers of the kind in the east.Commenting on the allotment or funds, Congressman Byron said that the project is in line with the national defense program and that the improvements planned to the camp will become permanent assets at considerable saving to the State of Maryland.Cong.
