Bryan,VernontrothDr. and Mrs. Quentin Bryan of Ukiah have announced the engagement of their daughter, Claudia Bryan, to John W. Vernon of Goleta, the son of Mrs. Thonette Vernon of Walnut Creek.CLAUDIA BRYAN*APlans call for a Fall wedding and the young couple will make their home in Goleta.Miss Bryan is a graduate of Palos Verdes high school and Santa Barbara city college. She will attend the University of California at Santa Barbara in the fall.The groom-to-be is a graduate of Piedmont high school and UC at Santa Barbara. He is now in his second year of postgraduate work, working toward a Ph.D in chemistry.The engagement was announced during a family dinner at the Bryan residence on Wildwood Drive in Deerwood Park.
