One other, Corporal Alva F. Eaton, was killed in action on March 5.No details of the young man’s death were given in the official message. He was a member of Co.C 119th infantry, and it is presumed that he took part in the great allied counter offensive at the time it was started, and which has had such great results.Private Anderson was a particularly high type rof young man— earnest, modest, chivalrous. He was a good worker on the farm.He had many friends.He and seven other local hoysiytio;thillo^tnain2Nilwere given a farewell dinner at the jHotel Lee on Sunday, February 24. The following day he reported at Camp Dodge. He did not have an opportunity to come home on a furlough after leaving here.He had been in France two months and had been in Belgium for a short time. He is survived by his aged parents and a brother, Seif, who is in class 2. The boy was born in Sweden and came, to this country when seven years old.A letter, dated July 17, was received by his parents Monday.
