In McmbriamFuneral services for Lt. Robert A, Schaloske, killed in action in 1944, wiU be held this Saturday afternoon, Aug. 6, at 1:30 o’clock at Zimmerman's chapel- Final interment will take place in Forest Home cemetery. The services will be under the auspices of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Memorial Post 7181. Rev, E. Paul will be the officiating minister.The body will be brought into Forest Park this week, to lie in state at the chapel from Friday, Aug. 5, until the services.Lt. Schaloske was bom in For-ieat Park on April 5, 1921. He attended St. John's grade school and graduated from Proviso high school in 1339, Altef his grndha-v tion he wad employed by the Western Tire and Auto stores until he entered the army air force in October, 1942. He had been a serving overseas about six months when he was killed. His death occurred while he was returning from a mission over Color, France, He was within five miles of his base when he was shot down. He formerly resided at 7452 Franklin.He is survived by his mother. MVs. Emilia Schaloske, and his sister, Mrs. Edna Griffith of River j; Forest.
