Mrs. John DefervilleFuneral services for Mrs. John (Hose) Deferville, 79, of Diamond, were held at 9 a.m. tlt;xlay at the Reeves Funeral Rome, Coal City, to Assumption Church at 9:30 a.m. where the Rev. George T. Flynn officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove,m sMrs. Deferville died at 1:05 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Joliet, where she had heen a patient three weeks.Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Geistler of Diamond; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marian Fasana of San Bruno, Calif.She was preceded in death by her husband in 1950 and a son Roy in 1960.Mrs. Deferville was born March 12, 1894, in Purin, Italy. Her family came to the United States and in 1944 they settled in Diamond. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Assumption Church and a member of Piedmontes Lodge.
