Meeting of new committee discussed show plans in Wagga district
The first meeting of the newly elected Murrumbidgee Pastoral and Agricultural Association committee was held. Attendees included Mrs G Peterson Wilton and J J Baylis with Baylis winning 17 votes to Wilson's 14. Topics covered included southern district exhibit in Sydney, nomination fees for stallions, turnstiles for the show, and fencing plans. The group approved the grandstand tender and debated ground layouts before ending with the National Anthem.
