Doors open at 7 30 p m on Wednesday October 27 to admit anyone for a hot supper. Adults pay 40 cents and children 30 cents with a 5 cent admission. Tickets available at various stores.
Sir William Allardyce proclaims November 14 as a Day of Thanksgiving for the colony and November 11 as Armistice Day. The order designates a public and bank holiday and directs all persons to observe and govern themselves accordingly. Dated September 16, 1926 at Government House St John’s.
