Ark Royal Sunk After Submarine Attack
The Admiralty announced yesterday the logs of the aircraft carrier Ark Royal after a submarine attack. She sank with most of her crew of 1600. the ship’s cost was 3,000,900 pounds and she carried 70 aircraft. She was en route to Gibraltar from the Mediterranean Thursday night.
